The current NFL formulas, team IDs, model tests and import validator remain unchanged.
Model Methodology
How The Football Bet IQ Model Works
The model workflow compares football team strength, market price and game context before any public recommendation is shown.
League Separation
NFL and College Football stay separate
The website can share design components, but each league must use its own identifiers, import path, validation and browser storage.
College Football uses its own projection imports, matchup layers and validation before approved model output appears.
Draft projections should remain out of public views until marked ready for publication.
Bet queues should keep NFL and College Football picks from sharing the same saved browser state.
NCAA Matchup Controls
Quarterback production meets opponent weakness
Separate passing and rushing layers recognize when a productive quarterback draws a defense that has struggled against that specific style. Each layer can monitor a matchup without changing the published projection.
The recognition control evaluates the quarterback's production score, available sample and the opponent's yards-per-attempt profile.
The application control is separate. Off means the model records the candidate adjustment for review; on allows the capped adjustment into projected points.
Rush share, efficiency, yards and touchdowns are compared with the opponent's run-defense efficiency to identify a possible team-point adjustment.
Completion rate, yards per attempt, rating, touchdown rate and ball security are compared with the opponent's pass-defense efficiency.
Small samples reduce the candidate value, minimum thresholds prevent weak signals and a maximum adjustment limits the effect on one team.
Paid NCAA previews report whether each layer is off, monitoring or applied, plus the current team-level data status.
